Through a year-long process, our department evaluated a number of different brands and styles of lights. We settled on the Survivor over the many other brands for personal issue. Durability and battery life have been amazing. We've not had a single light fail since they have been in service. Each of our seating positions in all our apparatus has a mounted Vulcan light as well. We've had them in service for a number of years and during all that time we've not had a light or charger or any component fail. Bulletproof product!
