I purchased my Stinger flashlight the better part of ten years ago off of a Cornwell tool truck when I was turning wrenches professionally. I used this every day. At the time the price tag was hard to swallow, but I quickly came to realize it was one of the smartest purchases I had ever made. It was dropped, ran over, left in the rain, lost once, just plain beat on. A few months ago, I was working on a car when it abruptly caught on fire. It took a few minutes to get the car out of the garage to save my structure, but the car was a total loss. The firefighters who showed up to extinguish the car found what was left of my Stinger on the radiator support under the hood insulation. It looked bad, to say the least. Endcap switch melted, the lens cracked a little, handgrip melted and blistered. But imagine my surprise when I pressed the body switch, and the light came on!!! Even the firefighters were amazed. All this with the same batteries from the original purchase! To say I am happy with this product would be an understatement. I won’t buy another flashlight for my personal use unless it’s a Streamlight. I have attached some pictures. Thank you for a quality item.
