Today at work while inspecting a lower bridge over a creek my ProTac kept reflecting off of something in the dried-up mud. I realized it was a flashlight buried with only about half of the lens exposed. I dug it up: a Streamlight Stinger! I thought it was a cool find. I wiped the mud off and stuck it in my bag. We also use Stingers so when I got to the truck I pulled the corroded battery out and popped in a fresh one. To my disbelief, after a few clicks, it came on and functioned normally. I rinsed it in the creek and used it for the rest of the day. Who knows how long that had been there. UNREAL!!
