Hello Streamlight, I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I was burning trees that I had cut down and had dried up. As time went by it got later so naturally, I reached for my ole faithful Streamlight for light. As I was grabbing branches to feed the light (which has been burning for hours already) I dropped my Streamlight right in the fire onto the red hot coals!!!!! I started to think: how am I going to get this out? The Streamlight was in there for at least a minute. I took the branch cutter and got the Streamlight out. The charging port and the button were on fire so I quickly put it out and ran water over it. After letting it cool down I examined it: the button was rubbery, sticky, and soft and the charging port was melted a bit and the front glass is all smokey but...To my surprise, it shined right up. The wife was freaking out, she said there's no way that light still works but it did! I just have to push it down to charge on the charger but it charges. Yet to see if there was damage to the battery life. Thank you for making one tuff flashlight!!!!
