If you are a person who seriously uses your light, you cannot go wrong with Streamlight®.

Here is my old Protac® 2AAA. I have worked as an estimator, in the automotive and heavy-duty industry. This light has been in my pocket every day for years, and I have always used it on the weekends for working around the house. It has countless hours on it, and as you can see from the finish wear, quite frankly it has been abused. This light should not work. It has been wet, dropped, used as hammer, and it just keeps going. A couple of weeks ago, I started having an issue where the light would switch modes intermittently when first turned on, which I narrowed down to the tailcap being worn out, and rightfully so. I emailed in and a customer service rep responded within a day, and within a week I had a new tailcap for free (which I didn't expect and would have happily paid for). The good news is that even when malfunctioning the light still worked. If you are a person who seriously uses your light, you cannot go wrong with Streamlight.
