I dropped my Stinger® LED into 5ft. of rushing water.

I am a police officer working the overnight shift, and a dependable flashlight is a must. While barricading a roadway to keep traffic from driving through exceptionally high waters during a recent storm, I dropped my Streamlight® Stinger® LED into a drainage way with approximately 5 feet of rushing water. The light traveled approximately 20 feet before disappearing from view. I was devastated at the loss of such an exceptional tool.

After checking the drainage way daily, the water had receded enough so that I found my light stuck in a crack in the drainage way. The light was still under about 2 feet of water. I took it apart and allowed it to dry. I then charged the light, and by some miracle it worked, as if nothing had ever happened.

I will only buy your lights from this day forth. Thank you for making a selection of fantastic products which someone in a profession such as mine can depend on.
