In August my brother-in-law passed away. He owned 3 Stinger® flashlights. One was in its original box. The receipt showed he purchased it in 1997. It had apparently been sitting uncharged for at least 10 years.
I read the pamphlet that was in the box and it said the Stinger® could sit in a box for 10 years and after a 4-hour charge, it would run for a full hour. So I gave it a try.
I plugged it in, charged it for four hours, and, sure enough, the light came on. I set the stopwatch on my phone to see how long the light would last; and it went strong for 1 hour and 22 minutes. Amazing!
Hopefully I will be using this light 18-year-old light for another 20 years. Thanks for making a great product that I know my brother-in-law loved. It now has a new faithful home.
