No matter what people need from a flashlight, what they need most is for the flashlight to work. When batteries run out, you've got to be able to recharge or replace the batteries with what you have available. That's why Streamlight now offers lights with multiple power sources and recharging options.

Streamlight's current arsenal of rechargeable lights includes a wide variety of flashlights and chargers as well as some models that take off-the-shelf rechargeable batteries.

We now offer PiggyBack charging units for the Strion family and Stinger family of flashlights. These enable charging of a flashlight and a spare battery simultaneously, so they give the user double the runtime. Streamlight recently introduced a 18650 battery charger and a 18650 lithium battery. The charger allows you to charge your batteries - one or two at a time - in the dual-input charging cradle. It uses either USB or "traditional" AC/DC power sources for a wide variety of battery charging options.

In addition, Streamlight is introducing a rechargeable model of The Siege® lantern, the Super Siege®. Although the Super Siege recharges traditionally, it includes a USB port that allows you to charge other electronic devices.

USB-Rechargeable

With USB-rechargeable lights, you can recharge simply by connecting to a USB port, an AC wall adaptor, or by using a USB charger that plugs into your vehicle's USB port (or its cigarette lighter).

Streamlight's ever-expanding line of USB-rechargeable lights now includes penlights (Stylus Pro® USB and now a UV model), a small clip-on light (ClipMate® USB), a headlamp (Double Clutch™ USB) and a high-lumen light (ProTac HL® USB). We even have a portable electronic power unit/USB recharger that's also a flashlight (EPU-5200™).

Multiple Power Sources

• Double Clutch™ -- Powered by USB rechargeable lithium polymer battery; also accepts 3 AAA alkaline or lithium batteries.
• 3AA ProPolymer® Dualie® models -- Includes three "AA" alkaline batteries; also accepts AA lithium batteries. (3AA ProPolymer® Dualie® Laser/3AA ProPolymer® Dualie®)
• Sidewinder models – Sidewinder® and Sidewinder® Rescue – Both models accept two "AA" alkaline batteries or two "AA" lithium for extended operation in extreme temperature environments (-40F to 150F). Sidewinder Compact® II accepts either one CR123A lithium battery, one AA lithium battery or one AA alkaline battery to provide ultimate flexibility in the field.
• ProTac HL® USB -- Uses lithium ion battery (P/N 74175); also accepts two 3V CR123A lithium batteries or a commercially available Li-Ion 18650 rechargeable battery
• ProTac HL® 4 -- A 2,200 lumen hand-held flashlight with a wide beam pattern that will illuminate an entire area. The dual fuel ProTac HL 4 accepts either four CR123A lithium batteries or two rechargeable 18650 batteries.
