THANKS FOR A LIGHT THAT PAVED THE WAY FOR MY TROOPS
NO MATTER WHAT DIFFICULTIES WE ENCOUNTERED

I was deployed for a second tour in Iraq as a Lead Vehicle Commander back in 08'-09'. One evening I noticed a mostly buried object on the approach to my vehicle. It was a Streamlight Microstream flashlight that was most likely accidently dropped by a U.S. soldier. I carefully unearthed it from that hard-packed sandy gravel. I put in a new battery and it still functioned!

I carried this Streamlight for the next 8 months through many combat patrol missions. Whenever I needed my Streamlight to preform, it stayed true and steady. When we lost all auxiliary power it was our only means of illumination.

When I came home I packed it away into my deployment mementos. I recently ran across it and it still performs. This Streamlight has withstood the test of time after some 6 years of abuse.

Thank you for designing and constructing a light that allowed me to pave the way for my
troops no matter what difficulties we encountered.

Knucklehead THIS KNUCKLEHEAD HUNG ON UNDERNEATH THE CAR FOR OVER 6 MONTHS – AND IT STILL WORKS!

One of my customers came into the office in our auto repair center and showed me a Knucklehead that had survived real torture. He's a car mechanic and after doing some repairs, he forgot his Knucklehead on the exhaust under the car he was working on.

After about six months, his customer came in for service, and there was the Knucklehead, still clinging to the exhaust pipe. The owner of the car lives on a gravel road and drives the car every day. We also get a lot of snow here in Sweden and we use a lot of salt on our roads, so that light took a lot of abuse. But the Knucklehead still works!

AN 18-YEAR-OLD STINGER THAT HADN'T BEEN USED IN 10 YEARS IS NOW RUNNING LIKE NEW!

In August my brother-in-law passed away. He owned 3 Stinger flashlights. One was in its original box. The receipt showed he purchased it in 1997. It had apparently been sitting uncharged for at least 10 years.

I read the pamphlet that was in the box and it said the Stinger could sit in a box for 10 years and after a 4-hour charge, it would run for a full hour. So I gave it a try.

I plugged it in, charged it for four hours, and, sure enough, the light came on. I set the stopwatch on my phone to see how long the light would last; and it went strong for 1 hour and 22 minutes. Amazing!

Hopefully I will be using this light 18-year-old light for another 20 years. Thanks for making a great product that I know my brother-in-law loved. It now has a new faithful home.
