You may think the headline of our latest corporate ad campaign is clever – "We Don't Just Make Flashlights, We Shape Illumination" – but we think it's more than that. The ad is actually a statement about how Streamlight innovations are making it possible for people to change the way they choose flashlights. Whether it's safety rated lights or lights for firefighters, the military/law enforcement, outdoor enthusiasts or homeowners, there are now a lot more options when selecting a personal lighting tool.

Our variety of beam patterns is a perfect example of how we're "shaping illumination." In the past, no one thought about choosing a flashlight with a beam designed for the kind of illumination you need for a specific task. Now, someone buying a hand-held light can select a beam that reaches far into the distance, or one that spreads out far and wide; and they can use tools like our interactive beam demo to help them make the best choice. We also offer lights that illuminate an entire scene, lights that focus illumination on just a small work area, and lights that contain multiple LEDs for multiple tasks. Streamlight's lighting options are virtually unlimited; and that's really the point: We're creating task-specific lighting, and changing the way people use – and choose – lighting tools.
