The popular Stinger® line of flashlights is no longer the only Streamlight machined aluminum flashlight to offer Dual Switch (DS) models. This technology, which offers users independently operating head and tail cap switches, is a customer favorite that we have introduced to all our Strion® models.
The DS feature makes the light more versatile. The user can hold the light in a way that’s more comfortable or more functional. For example, when a tactical light is needed, the tail cap switch is used.
TEN-TAP® Programming
In addition to the choice of switches, the new Strion® DS models offer even more choice through TEN-TAP® Programming. This feature enables the user to select one of three different programs:
1.) high/medium/low with strobe (factory default);
2.) high only without strobe;
3.) high/medium/low without strobe
With TEN-TAP® Programming, users decide how their lights work. They can re-program the light as often as needed, program it once and forget about it, or just use it as programmed by the factory.
