DURING THE WORST OF HURRICANE SANDY,
OUR POLICE DEPARTMENT LOST POWER.
But your TLR-1s HP™ filled three rooms with light!
I am Operations Commander for the Ventnor City Police Dept. Our small shore town was devastated by the recent hurricane. Our police department lost power during the height of the storm; and we were scrambling to try and charge our flashlights on the 2 outlets that were powered by our generator. Eventually the demand overtook our supply. By chance, I remembered that Streamlight had sent a TLR-1s HP™ several months earlier that was still in the box unopened.
I pulled out your tactical light hoping the battery would be fully functional. With a flick of the switch my room was filled with light, as were the 2 adjoining rooms. I was now able to perform my duties. I was out in the 90 mph winds and soaking rain where I dropped my TLR-1s HP in 2 plus feet of bay water and onto concrete several times.
Since the disaster struck, my TLR-1s HP hasn't left my side and still shines bright. I have yet to test it on our patrol rifles as it was intended to be used but have found so many more uses for it.
I just wanted to pass on my experience with your excellent product and to say that I personally have tested the TLR-1s HP under the most extreme conditions and it passed with flying colors. Thanks again from a 27 year Law Enforcement veteran.

THANKS TO MY ARGO® HEADLAMP, WE COULD SEE THE CANYON OVER 100ft. DOWN THROUGH HEAVY MIST.
I love your product. I have two Trident® C4 headlamps, an Argo C4 and keep a pistol grip spotlight in all my vehicles. My favorite is the Argo LED with the battery life indicator. I love it because I always know if I need to pack extra batteries on a long trip. Last year I went canyoneering with a friend in Zion National Park.
The last rappel in Mystery Canyon is over 100 ft. down into the Virgin river through a small waterfall. We had arrived well after dark, and after throwing the rope over, my friend was using his non-Streamlight headlamp to try and see if the end had made it to the river. Having the end of your rope snag part way down means you rappel into a loop and are stuck. He could see nothing.
I used my Argo, and even through the heavy mist of the waterfall I could make out the rocks in the bottom of the river and see our rope's end floating in the current. THANK YOU! Now you know why I bought more headlamps than I have heads. I loan them out on canyoneering trips.

After finding my first Stylus Pro in the dryers about 5 months ago, I was so impressed with your product that I bought a ProTac® 2AA. Wow! That is one amazingly bright light.
