The original Knucklehead® was an instant hit with auto technicians. Its bright soft flood light, its rotating head, and the ability to clip or stick almost anywhere made it exactly what auto techs need. It enables them to aim light right where they need it, while keeping their hands free.

When firefighters saw the Knucklehead, they realized how a compact, hands-free light with a rotating head could help them find their way through a smoky fire more safely, especially when they need to crawl through a smoke-filled room. They asked Streamlight if the Knucklehead could be redesigned with a spot instead of a flood; and the new Knucklehead Spot gives them just what they’ve been looking for … and then some!

The new light is designed so that firefighters can easily aim the light wherever it’s needed – even while crawling through thick smoke and wearing heavy gloves. It features a spotlight to pierce the smoke; and its far-reaching beam helps locate hazards or victims from a distance. The Knucklehead Spot has a spring-loaded clip for attachment to gear and uneven surfaces. The removable magnet provides the versatility to attach it to doorways or any metal surfaces. It also features a versatile power source that runs on either a rechargeable battery or a standard 4 "AA" alkaline batteries.
