HUNTING BUYING GUIDEHUNTING LIGHTS FOR THE HOLIDAY

Every hunter knows they need a good, dependable light before heading out into the woods. But the fact is, hunters need several lights to be safe and successful.

Streamlight is currently running an ad that outlines the variety of lights hunters should carry. Retailers should be aware of why hunters may need certain lights and how Streamlight products fulfill those needs. Here's a rundown that will help retailers assist their customers:

A headlamp to keep hands free
The Buckmaster's Trident HP® has three lighting modes, three safety-green LEDs to help you get in and out of the tree stand, a bright white LED to light your way home, and a 90° rotating head.

A small task light to clip to your keys or jacket
The Key-Mate®, weighs less than 1 oz., and it runs 96 hours! There's also a safety-green LED model. The Nano Light® is even brighter; it runs 7 hours and weighs only .36 oz. They're great for reading maps, checking equipment and dozens of other tasks when you don't need or don't want a super bright light that can attract attention. A safety-green Stylus® penlight can be seen by other hunters – but not by game; and it preserves your night vision. Just place this one in your breast pocket.

A brighter light to clip to your pocket
Streamlight's Protac® 2L is super light, and ultra-bright at 180 lumens. It's just 2.8 oz. and has a pocket clip and a nylon holster. There's no brighter light at such a small size.

A flashlight with a long-range beam
The Polytac® LED and Polytac® LED HP are designed to cast a bright, far-reaching beam to light up a dark trail or to see your way through the woods.

A rechargeable light installed in your vehicle
The rechargeable Streamlight Strion® LED is one of the lightest and brightest lights in its class. It has high, medium, and low modes, plus a strobe, which is great if you need to signal for help.

A spot light to find and illuminate the campsite
The Waypoint® spotlight produces a long range beam with optimum peripheral light. It has a pistol grip and weighs less than two pounds with batteries, so it's easy to carry. It also has an integrated stand, so you can set it up and illuminate the whole campsite.

Of course every hunter doesn't need every light, but you'll be doing customers a huge service – and selling more lights – when you point out all the ways Streamlight can make a hunt safer and more successful.
