Streamlight® Showcases New Products at 2010 SHOT Show
With a record-breaking 31,280 buyers attending the world's largest trade show for law enforcement, hunting and outdoor products, this year's SHOT Show in Las Vegas set the stage for Streamlight to showcase a host of new products and ignite sales.

Held January 19-22 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, overall attendance at the show was 58,444 -- only several hundred shy of the show's all-time record and more than 11,000 above last year's show in Orlando.
This year, Streamlight maximized its presence at the show by consolidating the two booths it has used in the past into one 30' x 60', 2,400-square foot space. The new booth was designed to involve visitors, giving them the opportunity to try out new lights and meet with members of the Streamlight team.
"The SHOT show provides an invaluable opportunity to speak with buyers as well as members of the media in person, allowing us to demonstrate the power of Streamlight's products," said Mary Ellen Giangiulio, Assistant Director of Marketing. "It jump starts sales for the year, and results in major trade media coverage of Streamlight products."
Distributors visiting the booth learned about the variety of new Streamlight products that are shipping this year. Several lights that are immediately available include the TLR-1® s and the TLR-2® s, strobe-equipped versions of Streamlight's leading tactical gun-mount lights; the lithium-powered, high-intensity PolyTac® LED HP, providing 150 lumens measured system output and 15,000 candela peak beam intensity, and the E-Flood™ LiteBox® and E-Flood™ FireBox® industrial-duty, rechargeable portable lanterns, featuring C4® power LED technology.
Other products scheduled to ship beginning in April include:
- WayPoint™ -- a handheld, pistol-grip searchlight. With a light output of 210 lumens measured system output and 115,000 candela peak beam intensity over a range of over 2,200 feet, it is designed to provide extremely bright light for emergency situations.
- Strion® LED HP, a high performance version of its popular compact Strion® LED rechargeable flashlight. Like the Strion LED, it features 160 lumens, but, with 38,000 candela, provides approximately 400 percent greater peak beam intensity.
- The ProTac series of flashlights, featuring up to 180 lumens measured system output and 33 hours of run time. The ultra-compact lights require either one or two CR123A lithium batteries (the ProTac™ 1L and ProTac™ 2L) or one or two “AA” alkaline batteries (the ProTac™ 1AA and ProTac™ 2AA). The ProTac 2L is also gun mountable.
