Streamlight® Offers New Options
For Helmet Mounted Lights
As the leading flashlight manufacturer for fire and rescue uses, Streamlight® continues to pioneer new solutions to fire professionals' hands-free lighting needs.

First, there were the virtually indestructible, non-conductive 2AA ProPolymer® and 2AA ProPolymer® LED flashlights, which can be conveniently attached to helmets with a rubber helmet strap. Either light with the strap gives fire professionals a low-cost, hands-free solution that offers incredible brightness. And with the recent introduction of the lightweight, compact Streamlight PolyTac® and PolyTac® LED, fire professionals now have two new flashlights that are narrow enough to use with the helmet strap. Both offer piercing brightness, with the xenon model providing up to 6,000 candela peak beam intensity and 72 lumens measured system output, and the LED model, featuring a C4® power LED, providing up to 4,800 candela peak beam intensity and 120 lumens measured system output.
Next came the 4AA Helmet Lighting Kit, featuring a Streamlight 4AA ProPolymer® Lux Division 2 safety-rated light and a rubber strap and stainless steel clamp, providing firefighters with secure, cost-effective ways to attach the light to both traditional and modern style helmets. Now, Streamlight is upgrading this mounting kit with the Blackjack Helmet Flashlight Holder, introduced at this year's FDIC show. Made from solid machined aluminum and featuring a patented three-point contact design, the Blackjack securely holds a Streamlight 4AA ProPolymer® Xenon, Streamlight 4AA ProPolymer® LED, or Streamlight 4AA ProPolymer® Lux in the ear arch of most fire helmets, both traditional and modern styles. (The holder also can be purchased separately as an accessory).

And now comes the most advanced solution of all - the new Streamlight Vantage™, the best hands-free firefighters' light available today. Also introduced at FDIC, this new compact, low-profile tactical flashlight attaches snuggly above or below full-brim fire helmets, either modern or traditional, through a swivel clamp so it won't snag or get in the way. Featuring new C4® power LED technology, the Vantage provides up to 4,500 candela peak beam intensity and 80 lumens measured system output. It also includes an ultra-bright blue safety tail light that enables users to be seen regardless of which direction the light is shining. Purchase a Vantage before June 30 and receive a $15 rebate (Streamlight.com/vantagerebate).
