Streamlight's New World-Class Fire and Rescue Lights Lead the Way

emsFrom the rechargeable Fire Vulcan LED® - the brightest rechargeable lantern ever made – to the Survivor LED® right-angle flashlight and the Vantage™ helmet light, Streamlight is ahead of the pack with the introduction of several new lighting tools equipped with powerful C4® LED technology, valuable features and superior safety ratings.

The lights incorporating C4 LED technology produce two times the measured system output of Super High Flux LEDs, resulting in extreme brightness. In addition, each light boasts unique features to match the needs of fire fighters and rescue personnel in a range of situations.

"The combination of C4 LED technology, compact design, light weight and unique features of our leading fire and rescue lights offers firefighters and emergency personnel extraordinary value when they are operating in dangerous environments," said Ray Sharrah, Streamlight Chief Operating Officer.

emsFor example, Streamlight recently introduced an enhanced version of the world's number one right-angle flashlight – the Survivor LED. The hand-held light that clips onto turnout gear now features C4 LED technology and special reflector optics. It has been approved by Underwriter Laboratories Inc. for meeting the hazardous location standard for safety with Class 1, Division 1 designation, which covers its use in areas where flammable gases or liquids may be present under normal operating conditions.

Streamlight's Fire Vulcan LED rechargeable lantern boasts C4 power LED and special reflector optics, making it the brightest rechargeable lantern ever made. Five times brighter than its closest competitor, the Fire Vulcan weighs only 1.8 pounds – nearly 50 percent lighter than the halogen version.

The Streamlight Vantage C4 helmet light, which attaches easily to full-brim fire helmets, is a perfect hands-free option. The light also features an ultra-bright blue safety tail light that allows firefighters and rescue workers to be seen in smoke-filled rooms or blackout conditions.
