The Service Department Manager both directs and coordinates the activities of the Service/Repair Department. They provide technical support and product warranty support for the customer. They are responsible for working with customers to solve product issues, Manufacturing Engineering to understand the technology of new products, and Service Department personnel to expedite the necessary repairs within the appropriate timeframe specified by company ISO metric. They continuously monitor department processes to implement process improvement.
The Service Technician position is responsible for the troubleshooting and servicing customer owned equipment as well as entering/maintaining related service data in the company database. They are to strive for the timely servicing of flashlights to the complete satisfaction of the customer and to maintain department ISO goals in regards to turnaround time. They will be responsible for working with customers to solve equipment problems and expedite the necessary service orders.
